About the Artist

     I am an artist, born and raised in Portland, Oregon. Since I was a child, I have always loved to create and experiment with a variety of materials including, painting, drawing and photography to name a few. As a young adult, I continued to pursue my creative interests and graduated from Marylhurst University with a bachelors in Art. My passion for art has always been influenced by the world around me. I find inspiration in my experiences and enjoy  expressing myself through different  mediums. 

My Process

     My creative process begins by hand drawing a design before bringing it to life on paper or canvas. This allows me to make adjustments and add details to my work before I commit to the final outcome. I enjoy the fluid process inherent in art making. The challenge of exploring new materials and techniques are exciting aspects of creating art that give me different ways to share my ideas while expanding on my talents.

My Purpose 

     Art has the ability to reach people on a deeper level when, other forms of communication sometimes fail to convey the meaning behind an idea. My goal is to create art that challenges an individuals thinking while encouraging self reflection  on their own personal relationship with my art.
